Agency Acquisition Specialist.

Miami, FL (On-site)Full-time

About Calvis

Calvis is an AI-native physical security platform. Traditional security never learns — guards miss events, patrol routes stay static, and customers find out whether a shift went right only after it's over. We fix that by uniting many licensed security agencies into one intelligent network, then wrapping every shift in an AI Copilot and a 24/7 human Overwatch team. The result: a security operation that gets smarter with every shift — trusted by businesses across warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, retail, and events.

Our network of vetted agencies is the engine that makes all of this possible — and that's the engine this role builds.

About the role

As Agency Acquisition Specialist, you source agencies, vet them for licensing and quality, sign them, personally own their onboarding, and grow the ones already on the platform.

This is a hunter role with an operator's discipline — equal parts outbound business development, compliance vetting, and account growth.

What you'll own — four things, end to end

  • Source against demand — identify, prioritize, and pursue licensed security agencies in markets where Calvis has unmet customer demand. Keep supply and demand balanced market by market.
  • Enrich & qualify leads — build out each target agency's profile: guard count, armed capability and licensing, insurance, the systems they run, and their pain points. Sharpen our target-agency persona as you learn.
  • Vet & sign — verify state licensing, insurance, officer-pool depth, track record, and capabilities. Then negotiate and close the partnership.
  • Own onboarding end-to-end — first touch through compliance docs and activation. Get every new agency onboarded, trained, and ready for their first Calvis shifts.

What we're looking for

  • 2–4+ years in business development, sales, recruiting/sourcing, or partnerships — ideally in security, staffing, marketplaces, or gig/field workforce
  • A genuine outbound hunter — comfortable owning a pipeline, running cold outreach by phone and email, and closing
  • Vetting rigor — you read licensing, insurance, and compliance docs and form a sharp judgment on an agency's quality and reliability
  • Data-driven — you work the dashboards, prioritize by market gaps, and don't need to be told where the holes are
  • High ownership and follow-through — you carry a partner from first call to fully activated without dropping the baton
  • Based in or able to work on-site in Miami

Nice to have

  • Experience scaling the supply side of a two-sided marketplace
  • An existing network of security-agency owners or operators you can tap from day one
  • CRM / sales-tooling fluency and comfort with light data work — spreadsheets, dashboards
