Senior Ops Associate.

Austin, TX (On-site)Full-time

About Calvis

  • Calvis is making the physical security industry AI-native. Today the industry is outdated, fragmented, and runs on pen and paper. With Calvis, humans + AI work together to secure the world.
  • Our marketplace connects businesses with vetted security guards who work every shift using our AI copilot. It briefs them, takes their reports, and helps them do a great job. Meanwhile, every shift generates data that continuously makes our AI better.
  • Clients across the country, from critical infrastructure to manufacturing facilities, trust Calvis to help keep them safe.

Why join?

  • You'll work closely with our Head of Ops, and the rest of a 6-person ops team, not buried in layers.
  • You're the connective tissue between agencies, guards, and the platform. What you do directly shapes whether shifts run smoothly.
  • We hire on attitude and attention to detail over years on a resume. If you're sharp, organized, and care about doing things right, that matters more than a specific title you've held before.

The role

  • Problem-solve across the ops org. That might be figuring out a new model for finding guards, running training sessions, or whatever else needs solving that month.
  • Help nurture the agency relationships. Coach admins (and sometimes guards) through their stats, train them on the platform, grow the number of guards they put on it, and recognize the ones hitting big milestones.
  • Get on the phone. Inbound and outbound calls, margin calls, and follow-ups with customers who've cancelled bookings to understand why and spot patterns worth flagging.
  • Keep the paperwork straight: documentation collected and validated, anything expiring kept current, guard timesheets checked for accuracy, and the occasional push on accounts receivable.

Who you are

  • Great attitude, consummate problem solver and real eye for detail.
  • Personally motivated and accountable. You thrive on cutting through the chaos and getting things done.
  • In our world, sometimes a phone call is worth 10 emails. You should be comfortable on the phone with agency admins.
  • 4–6 years of experience in operations, consulting, account management, training, or customer service, ideally at a tech/software company with an offline or physical-world component.
  • Organized enough to keep a lot of moving pieces straight without letting things slip.
  • Bonus: genuinely excited about finding ways to automate manual work.
